We are delighted to confirm that Head Coach James Shanahan has signed to continue his stay at CURUFC for the next two seasons. Having helped to deliver a Varsity Match victory in 2016, James will continue to work closely with CURUFC Captain Charlie Amesbury in order to deliver another victory at Twickenham in December.
In the meantime, James has also announced that he will be leaving Old Albanian RFC at the end of this season in order to coach Blackheath Rugby Club. Blackheath is one of the oldest rugby clubs in the world, with a longstanding relationship with CURUFC. We thank James for all of his hard work at Grange Road and wish him the very best for his next challenge.
